Thomas Lewandowski of Forest Park

Thomas Lewandowski passed away on June 5, 2020 at the age of 57. Tommy was born on December 19, 1962 in Oak Park, Illinois. Growing up, Tommy was an exceptional athlete and could play any sport, but baseball was his passion. He was a Chicago sports fanatic and rarely missed out on an opportunity to watch a game. For over 25 years Tommy worked for Hostess Brands, often winning sales and safety awards. He enjoyed chatting with people and could easily make friends anywhere he went. He loved birthdays, weddings, and holidays because he loved celebrating with his family. He was old school in that he never texted, he called. He was funny and warm. He died far too soon and will be dearly missed by his family, friends and pets. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Penny and is survived by his sister Karyn and her family. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, Entombment Mount Emblem Cemetery is private.
