Shirley Anderson

Shirley J. Anderson, age 90, lifelong Riverside resident, retired Chicago Public Schools Teacher for over 40 years at Kinzie School, Linnae School, Reilly School and Emmett School. Shirley also served as a Trustee for the Chicago Teachers’ Pension Fund, was a graduate of the Chicago Teachers College and received her Master’s Degree at Loyola University. Loving mother of Starr (late David) Pitsch and Evonne (late Richard Vorwerk) Anderson, cherished grandmother of David (Laura Elgie, fiancée) Pitsch and Shannon Pitsch (James) Cartales, dear sister of the late Marilynne Martin. Memorial Visitation Thursday, March 2, 3pm to 8pm at Kuratko-Nosek Funeral Home, 2447 S. DesPlaines Avenue, North Riverside. Funeral Friday, March 3, 10:00am Memorial Mass atSt. Mary Church, 126 Herrick Road, Riverside. Family and friends are asked to meet at church by 9:45am.
