Nicholas Drew Hoving

Nicholas Drew Hoving, age 86 of North Riverside. U.S. Army Veteran. Beloved husband of Shirley Ann Hoving (nee Castrogiovanni), loving father of Kimberly (Jake) Minarcik and Karla (Dave) Doherty, cherished grandfather of Morgan Doherty, Jessica Driessens, Mallory (Austin) Burkhardt, Nicholas Doherty and great grandfather of Elijah Burkhardt, Noah Burkhardt and step great grandfather of Amelia Burkhardt, dear brother of the late Marianne (late John) Benac and brother-in-law of Mary Lou and the late James Marchetti, fond uncle of Michael (Stephanie) Marchetti, Lisa (Chuck) Anagnostopoulos, Laura (Terry) Hacker, the late Doug Vancura, the late Joseph Vancura and great uncle of Michael Marchetti, Ethan Marchetti, Joseph Marchetti, Jacob Anagnostopoulos, Kai Anagnostopoulos, Cameron Hacker, Casey Hacker, Andrew Vancura and Jillian Vancura. Nicholas was a member of the Holy Name Society, Sportsman’s Club, Moose International, Car Club and Indian Princesses. Nicholas was proud to have worked for DuPage Machine Products for 50 years. He was a car enthusiast, enjoyed boating, fishing, bowling and was a Chicago Cub, Chicago Bear and Chicago Blackhawk fan. 

Nicholas being a man of faith was always a patient, caring, strong and hard working man. He was kind to everyone and ready to lend a hand at any time. He was a wonderful and devoted family man that led by example who will be missed and cherished by all who knew him.
