Mary E. Lee

Mary E. Lee, nee Starek, age 84 of North Riverside. Beloved mother of Robert (Sherry) Lee and Colleen M. (Richard) Wiatrowski, cherished grandmother of Daniel (Marina) Wiatrowski, Ryan Lee and Andrew Wiatrowski, dear sister of Carole (Karl Ryckeghem) Starek and cousin to many. After graduating from DePaul University with an accounting degree, Mary began an accounting career that eventually led her to retirement from the General Services Administration as a budget analyst. She was a lifelong member of the Czechoslovak Society of America, serving as president and treasurer of the R T Crane Lodge #7. She was a long time Library Board Trustee and Secretary of the North Riverside Library Board and served with the Friends of the Library and the Czechoslovak American Congress. Mary was a volunteer for Forest Park PADS and Cantata Senior Care. Mary was an avid flower gardener and loved to shop, cook and entertain. Mary’s greatest loves were her family, her friends and our Lord, Jesus Christ.
