Marion D. “Dee Dee” Shubinski, nee Davids, age 97 of Berwyn. Beloved wife of the late Robert G., devoted mother of Merry Jo (late Tom) Wall, Robert (Joanie) Shubinski, Barbara Shubinski, Pamela Shubinski, David (Kate) Shubinski and James (Bryan Johnson) Shubinski, loving grandmother of Rocky, Mike W., Esther, Sarah, Jeff, Jake, Alex, Mike S., Jenae and Jack and great grandmother of 11, dear sister of Corinne (late Marvin) Kroening, fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Elmer and Eureka (nee Jourdan) Davids and siblings, Bernice (Arvid Miller and Oscar Pigeon) Miller, Margaret (Wally) Raasch, Dorothy (Ruth Gudinas) Davids, Lois (Joe) Cornelius, Glenn (Marky) Davids, Elmer (Donna) Davids Jr., Bruce (Sue) Davids and the late infant David Davids. Marion was a devoted wife and mother, a proud nurse who enjoyed helping people and a collector of both things and people. She was the salutatorian of her high school class, celebrated all things large and small and was always quick to loan a shoulder to lean on. Marion had a mischievous sense of humor, always laughing her infectious laugh that ended with a comforting sigh. She has always felt most at home in Bob’s arms and they are now finally back together again. They’re having an adventure!

Memorial Visitation Friday, June 3^rd, 4:00pm-8:00pm at Kuratko-Nosek Funeral Home, 2447 S. DesPlaines Avenue, North Riverside.

Memorial Service 6:30pm.
