Maria E. Torres of Cicero

Maria was united with longtime partner Apolinar Gonzalez for 35 years. She will be remembered as a caring woman who was always willing to help her family and friends when they needed it. Maria was a loving partner, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.

Maria is survived by her partner, Apolinar Gonzalez. Her children, Francisco (Natalie) Ocon, Hilda L. (Eric) Toscano, Iliana (Manuel Gonzalez) Torres, Apolinar (Erica Paz) Gonzalez Jr., Antonio (Keren) Gonzalez, Maribel (Paul) Garcia and Martin Gonzalez, her grandchildren Christina, Frankie, Jacqueline, Jonathan, Jocelyn, Jason, Jovanny, Julianna, Natalie, Ishaly, Shai-Lynn, Jasmine, Bryant, Nayelee and Nathan, dear sister of Carmen Ramirez, Augustin Sanchez, Celia Sanchez and the late Eugenio Flores.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Natalia Flores and Pedro Torres; and brother Eugenio Flores.

Visitation Friday, November 29th, 3:00pm-9:00pm at Kuratko-Nosek Funeral Home, 2447 S. Des Plaines Avenue, North Riverside.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 30th, 9:00am at St. Anthony Church, 1510 S. 49th Court, Cicero. Family and friends are asked to meet directly at the Church by 8:45am.
