Joan Pauline Seeberger

Joan Pauline Seeberger, fabulous woman, mother, wife of Jeff Seeberger for 58 years died suddenly Sunday, December 22, 2024 from consequences of Parkinson’s. She will always be remembered as an exceptionally kind, loving and nurturing woman who would spread happiness everywhere.

Joan was born on April 6, 1943 in Berwyn, Il . She was a graduate of Northwestern. She became a successful Burger King franchisee and later went into retail management at Talbots. Joan raised three beautiful children and was a loving grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved playing tennis and was active in coaching kids. Joan enjoyed skiing, hiking, bicycling, and walking especially at Turtle Creek Park.

She is survived by her wonderful children, Melissa Martinez ,Stephen Seeberger and wife Isabelle; Grandchildren Nicholas Martinez and wife Laura, Alexander Martinez, and Liliana Seeberger; Greatgrandchildren Averylynn Caroline Martinez, Bennette Emmeline Martinez; she was a cherished twin sister of Patty Jurgens. Joan was a guiding light to nieces and nephews Dave, Jenny, and Mike Jurgens, Kathy Lofy and Vacin children Donald, Andrew, Christine Driver, and Alexandra Greenan. Additionally beloved by 12 children of nieces and nephews.

Joan was preceded in death by her son, Mark.
