J.B. “Jay” Hawkins Jr., age 70 of North Riverside, retired local business owner for 40 years. Beloved husband of Barbara Hawkins nee Zick for 51 years, loving father of Michael of Cicero, Scott (Patti) of Orland Park, Laura (Michal) Koenig-Aprim of North Riverside and Jay (Alpha) of Bolingbrook, greatly loved Jennifer Marie Zick of Lyons and Norbert Patrick Zick of Denver, Colorado, dearest grandfather of Heather, Douglas, Paige, Danielle, Matthew, Lauren, Barbara, Athena, Jasmine, Conrad and Cayden, cherished fur babies Penny and Buster, dear brother-in-law of Geri (Ray) Matusak of Florida and Cathie Doyle of Arkansas, special cousin of Pat Bihun of Wheaton, also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
