Jaroslav Wurm

Dr. Jaroslav Wurm, born on April 12th, 1935 in Krivsoudov, Czechoslovakia and passed away peacefully on Friday, April 27th. Dr. Wurm received a degree in mechanical engineering and a PhD. from Czech Technical University of Prague. He continued his graduate studies at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. Dr. Wurm spent over 33 years in Research and Development and has written 55 papers and 2 books. His studies on engine-driven and Heat-activated heat pumps are widely recognized throughout the space conditioning industry. Dr. Wurm was a devoted husband and a loving father and teacher. He leaves behind his wife Eva, daughter Gabriella and son Peter.
He was also a cherished father-in-law to Christi and a beloved grandfather to Ava and Sofie. Funeral Services Friday, May 4th. where friends and family will gather at 4:00 pm at Our Lady of Mount Church 2414 S. 61st Ave., Cicero, IL for a 4:30 pm Mass. Interment Private.
