Evelyn C. Scott

Evelyn C. Scott of Riverside and Chandler. AZ passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord on August 18 , 2012 and has found peace again with her beloved husband Jimmy, who died in 1987. She was 102 years old, and celebrated her birthday in AZ on July 9, 2012. At her side was her daughter, Barbara Scott Hedstrom of Chandler, AZ, granddaughter Kristen (Gary) Kelliher and her caregivers who faithfully looked after her at the Desert Sunshine Assisted Living facility in Chandler, AZ. Also surviving are her grandson Brian (Elizabeth) Hedstrom and great grandson Andrew of Elk Grove Village Illinois. Evelyn loved Riverside and all the people in it. She enjoyed a lifetime of volunteering with many organizations, after retiring from her job at Neumode Hosiery in downtown Chicago where she worked for 40 years.
