It is with a heavy heart that the Aiello, Musselman and Gilbert families must announce the death of our beloved family matriarch, Carmella Aiello. Our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, friend and angel who never saw the darkness, whose faith never wavered, who saw beauty in all the things of this world, whose love embraced us all. Carmella Aiello, nee Costibile, of Berwyn. Beloved wife of the late John “SKE” Aiello, former proprietor of The Villa Lounge in Cicero, loving mother of John Scott (Kay), Donna, Deborah (Warren) Gilbert, Wendy (Joe) Musselman and Maria, cherished grandmother of Melissa, Gina (Richard), John Scott Jr., Joseph (Molly), Dessiere, Jenna (Jonathan), Joseph (Hannah), Annalysse (John), Adam, Allison and Megan and great-grandmother of Carmella, Caden, Joseph, Aiella, Rocco and Willow, dear sister of Barbara Curul, fond aunt of and great-aunt of many nieces and nephews. Please join us in celebration of a beautiful life; lived with courage, love and faith. A visitation will be held Saturday, July 2nd, 9:00am until time of Funeral Mass, 10:00am at St. Frances of Rome Church, 1500 S. 59th Avenue, Cicero.
