Bernard Klimas

Bernard J. “Bernie” Klimas, age 83, 47-year resident of North Riverside. Beloved husband of Arlene (nee Shubert), loving brother-in-law of Beverly Shubert and Dorothy (Robert) Hovan, dear uncle of Jason and Alex. Bernard was a retired insurance adjuster. Served 12 years in the U.S. Naval Air Reserve. He was an official scorer with the National Hockey League and worked for the Chicago Blackhawks for over 30 years. Family and friends will gather Wednesday, November 30th for a visitation, 9:30am until time of funeral mass, 10:00am at Mater Christi Church (corner of 24rd Street and 10th Avenue, North Riverside). Interment to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Forest Park.
