Alexandra Carpenter of Cicero

Alexandra Elizabeth Carpenter, nee Sejud, age 86 of Cicero. Beloved wife of the late John Anthony, loving mother of John A.  (Leslie) Carpenter III and Stephanie (Gregory) Shubat, cherished grandmother of Britney (Steve) Miller, Elizabeth Carpenter, Marie-Louise (Noah) Stalions, Alexandra (Derek Reinglass) Shubat and great grandmother of Emma Miller, Andrew Miller and Coy Stalions, dear sister of the late Genevieve (Raymond) Arkenberg and the late Jospeh Sejud, cherished aunt of Diane (Donald) Rinaldi, Don (Trish) Ivansek, Jerome Arkenberg, Richard (Gail) Arkenberg, Robert Arkenberg and Joseph Sejud III,  fond sister in law of Barbara, and also grandmother to David (Erin) Prak, Bunnong Ong and Bunny Ong. Alexandra was an elementary school teacher for over 40 years in DuPage County District 48 and Cicero District 99. During her retirement she volunteered as a tutor for Catholic Charities. Funeral Wednesday, January 17, 9:15am from Kuratko-Nosek Funeral Home, 2447 S. DesPlaines Avenue, North Riverside to St. Frances of Rome Church Church (corner of 15^th Street and 59^th Court, Cicero) Mass 10:00am. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday 3:00pm to 9:00pm. Memorial donations to Catholic Charities 1400 S.
